VISTA Qlik Sense

What is VISTA Qlik Sense?

VISTA Qlik Sense enables WoG officers to create, share and explore interactive dashboards and visualisations securely across WOG. Officers can use Qlik Sense to analyse data, build self-service visualisations, and publish dashboards for authorised users.

For more information, visit https://vista.gov.sg/SitePages/VisualAnalytics.aspx.

How does VISTA Qlik Sense work with DataHive?

DataHive enables WoG users to discover, request and access government-owned datasets. Once a data request has been approved, officers may use VISTA Qlik Sense to connect to the approved dataset(s) and build dashboards or visualisations.

In a typical use case, the officer will:

  1. Submit and obtain approval for a data request (DR) in DataHive.
  2. Create a data connection in VISTA Qlik Sense to the approved DataHive data request.
  3. Build a Qlik Sense app using the approved dataset.
  4. Publish or share the dashboard with authorised users, where applicable.
warning

VISTA Qlik Sense is supported for data up to Confidential / Sensitive (High).

Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of data, dashboards and sharing arrangements comply with the applicable data classification, security and governance requirements.
