This section contains some commonly asked questions from our users using the datasets listed on DataHive.
📄️ Electricity Sales / Town Gas
The electricity sales and town gas dataset are based on actual or estimated electricity and town gas monthly meter readings collected by SP Services (SPS).
📄️ Environmental Data
Environmental Data comprises of 15 datasets categorised into 2 data groups, namely (a) Weather and (b) Ambient Air. It is provided by National Environment Agency (NEA) as the designated agency for Single Source Of Truth (SSOT).
📄️ Electronic Parking System (EPS) Carpark Records
The Electronic Parking System (EPS) dataset contains information on the public carpark records managed by HDB, URA, SDC, JTC and NParks. It includes data from both EPS and Parking@HDB. These records contain details such as Carpark Name, Carpark Operator (CPO), Entry / Exit date and time, and the Parking Charge(s), which are obtained from 5 designated Single Source of Truth Agencies (SSOTs), namely, HDB, URA, SDC, JTC and NParks.
📄️ Non-EPS Carpark Records
The Non-EPS Carpark dataset contains information on the parking records obtained from the Parking.sg mobile application. The dataset contains details such as the session start/end date and time and the parking fee for each session, which are obtained from the 2 designated Single Source of Truth Agencies (SSOTs), namely, HDB and URA.
📄️ Water Consumption
The water consumption dataset is based on actual or estimated monthly water meter readings collected by SP Services.
📄️ Speed Band
The Speed Band dataset contains information on traffic speeds on expressways and arterial roads, expressed in speed bands. It is managed by LTA and is publicly available through DataMall. Historical data for speed band is not onboarded on Trusted Center for Sensor Data (TCS) yet.
📄️ Taxi/PHV OD Records
The Taxi/PHV Origin-Destination (OD) Records dataset contains starting and ending location for Taxi and Private Hire Vehicle trips. This dataset is maintained by the Land Transport Authority.
📄️ Bus Locations
The Bus Locations dataset provides detailed information on the location of public buses. This dataset is maintained by the Land Transport Authority.
📄️ Farecard Transactions
The Farecard Transactions dataset provides detailed information on entry and exit transactions for public trains and buses. This dataset is maintained by the Land Transport Authority.
📄️ Traffic Volume
The Traffic Volume (aka Traffic Flow) dataset contains hourly average traffic flow, taken from a representative month of every quarter during 0700-0900 hours. It is managed by LTA and is publicly available through DataMall. Historical data for traffic volume is not onboarded on Trusted Center for Sensor Data (TCS) yet.
📄️ Nationwide Parcel Locker Utilisation
The Nationwide Parcel Network is operated by PICK Network Pte Ltd (PICK).
📄️ Library Transaction Records
The Library Transaction Records dataset provides information on the loan transactions between the National Library Board (NLB) and its patrons. A patron is someone who uses the resources and services of a library.
