Non-EPS Carpark Records

The Non-EPS Carpark dataset contains information on the parking records obtained from the Parking.sg mobile application. The dataset contains details such as the session start/end date and time and the parking fee for each session, which are obtained from the 2 designated Single Source of Truth Agencies (SSOTs), namely, HDB and URA.

Datasets Update Frequency​

The Non-EPS Carpark dataset is updated daily and contains data from 1st October 2017, to the day prior to the current date. i.e. On 3rd Jan 2024, the most recent data available will be on 2nd Jan 2024.

Parking Session ID​

A unique identifier for each parking session.

Parking Reference ID​

A short human-readable identifier for each parking session. These IDs repeat after 100M sessions, please use Parking Session ID if you need to uniquely identify each session

Carpark Code​

Carpark / Parking Place code assigned

Vehicle Type​

Classifier for type of vehicle. Refer to the code tables found here

Session Start Time​

The recorded entry datetime stamp (in UTC +8) of the vehicle.

Session End Time​

The final recorded exit datetime stamp (in UTC +8) of the vehicle after accounting for extensions or early termination.

Example scenarios:

  1. User creates a session at 10:00 AM for 1 hour, session end time will be 11:00 AM.
  2. User creates a session at 10:00 AM for 1 hour, extends the session at 10:30 AM for another 30 minute, session end time will be 11:30 AM.
  3. User creates a session at 10:00 AM for 1 hour, terminates the session at 10:30 AM, session end time will be 10:30 AM.

Vehicle IU​

Masked vehicle IU number

This is a derived field obtained by matching the vehicle number in this dataset to the vehicle number in the Vehicle Registration Number dataset. The Parking.sg app does not collect the IU number.

Note: This is done on a best-effort basis, and a mapping may not be available for all records.

Vehicle Number​

Masked vehicle plate number. Note that the vehicle plate number is provided by the user and is not validated by the system.

Parked Duration​

Time between session start and end for a parking record in minutes.

Parking Fee​

The total parking fee (in SGD) incurred for the parking session, after accounting for extensions or early termination.

Can I access the raw vehicle plate number?​

  • No, it is de-identified (masked) by default for privacy reasons.
